We Made The Cover of Sports Illustrated!

Ok, so I might be getting ahead of myself, and a little over excited, but you really could say that we are “featured” this week in Sports Illustrated!

In an article on sports podcasts in this week’s SI, the Buffalo Bills Review is highlighted as one of four shows worth listening to, according to SI writer David Sabino! Who knew SI was listening to the Review!? Cool stuff!

This is what Sabino had to say about our show:

Buffalo Bills Review This hour long show features interplay among three diehard Bills fans and sounds like a conversation you’d overhear — and want to join — while eating wings at the Anchor Bar. Great analysis.

Awesome!

So, check it out at your local news stand, or you can read the article online (if you’re a subscriber). The part that mentions our show is at the bottom of the article you will see on that page (you won’t see the part about us unless you subscribe.)

Just wanted to pass along that unexpected and exciting news from today! We’re in Sports Illustrated! Not only “in”… they recommend our show! Good stuff.

This is definitely an audience participation show, so please do jump in by commenting here on the website, or check out the forums and start up some conversations there. Or, call the comment line – (716) 989-4180 – or send us an e-mail. All sorts of ways to be part!

Thanks for listening, and thanks SI for the compliment! 🙂

Trio of Bills Starters Still in Question – Buffalo Bills

It looks like a strong possibility that the Bills will be without all three starters injured in last week’s game against Tampa Bay. According the BuffaloBills.com, Mike Williams (OT) has not practiced all week. London Fletcher (LB) and Lawyer Milloy did practice late this week, but all three players are listed as Questionable for tomorrow’s game.

Predicition here is, we’ll see Milloy, and maybe Fletcher, though hamstring injuries are tough to play with. Williams will likely miss this game. We’ll see on the other side of the ball if Mike Vick will take the field, or if his own hamstring trouble will keep him sidelined.

Bills Game This Sunday!

Only two days to go! Jen & I get to go to a regular season Bills game for the first time in a LONG time! I think we did in 1997 just after (or before?) we were married. My parents took us to see the Colts. We were bad that year. But not this year!

Look for a full report in the Buffalo Bills Review!

The Bills on eBay

An interesting page I found today via a few links from the Buffalo Bills website. There is a dedicated page at eBay for any Buffalo Bills related items up for auction. I am not certain if these are part of the Hurrican Relief efforts we mentioned on the last show, but you may still be interested anyway!

Here’s the link.

Vote For The Show!

Hey Bills Fans!

We were finally cleared for take off on PodcastAlley.com. If you are unfamliar with that site, it is a fairly comprehensive directory of podcasts available on the net today. And now, ours is one of them.

They have a ranking system where each month, listeners can vote for their favorite podcast. As the show gets votes, it becomes more visible in the top podcast rankings. So, it gets more listeners, and with this show, that means it gets more fun.

So, if you like what you are hearing so far, put your email address in the box to the right and click VOTE. We’d appreciate it.

Only two days till the next game! Go Bills!

Buffalo Bills Review

Hey there Bills fans. 🙂 Just wanted to alert you to a new venture we have begun, Buffalo Bills Review.

This is a new podcast that my brother in law Josh, a high school friend Dave, and myself will be doing weekly following every Bills game. We’ll cover the game, any pertinent Bills news and the upcoming game. We even have a hotline, so fans can call in and share their 2 cents! (716) 989-4180. Nifty.

So stop by and check it out. Our first show (unofficial, since it’s preseason) 🙂 is now posted. You can also find us at the iTunes music store. For that direct link, click here.

It’s actually kind of informative and entertaining all at once.

And I am having a blast putting it together. 🙂

We hit the road tomorrow, so blogging will become more scarce in the next couple weeks, as I had predicted earlier. Stay tuned, and check out BuffaloBillsReview.com.

Tell your friends. It’s gonna be fun. 🙂
